When can I register?

Where do I register?

Registration will be hosted on our volunteer platform, R2. Chairs, Assistant Chairs, Hole Captains, Coordinators and Returning Volunteers will be emailed the link to register on their scheduled registration date.

The link will be made public on Wednesday, November 6 for new volunteers to register.

Is there a cost to volunteer?

Yes, there is a fee to volunteer at THE PLAYERS Championship, but the fee covers the cost of the volunteer package which includes:

  • One (1) Levelwear polo
  • One (1) Levelwear jacket
  • One (1) Ahead hat (visor, bucket or baseball style)
  • One (1) volunteer credential that can be used to gain entry into the tournament even when not volunteering

The Volunteer Package fee for 2025 is $110.

What should I do in the event of inclement weather?

Your Committee Chair will provide you with information regarding where you should go in the case of inclement weather. Pleas e d o not presume that play is canceled if it rains ; report to your assigned duty. Please review the weather chart below for information regarding weather severity.

Electronic leaderboards throughout the golf course will display weather warnings using a color-coded alert scale. Spectators should take precautions upon observing any weather warnings and be ready to seek safe shelter if appropriate, which may include exiting the premises.

In the event of dangerous weather, please avoid hilltops/high places, golf carts, temporary structures, trees and wire fencing.

What are the age requirements to volunteer?
Unless otherwise posted on the Tournament website or communicated by Tournament staff, youth volunteers must be between 13 –18 years of age as of the start date of the Tournament. All other volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for a volunteer position. Some volunteer positions require 25 years of age.
What am I eligible for if I volunteer for 36 hours?
Volunteers who work for at least 36 hours will be eligible for a merchandise discount, a dining discount or a golf discount at TPC Sawgrass. For more information, please visit the “Volunteer Perks” page on the volunteer website.
What am I eligible for if I volunteer for 24 hours?
Volunteers who work for at least 24 hours will be eligible for either a merchandise discount or a dining discount at TPC Sawgrass. For more information, please visit the “Volunteer Perks” page on the volunteer website.
How do I purchase a Volunteer Party ticket?
Information on THE PLAYERS 2025 Volunteer Party, including ticket availability, date, time and location, will be confirmed at a later date. Please check back here in the coming weeks for more information!
Where is volunteer parking? Do I need a parking pass?

Volunteers will park at Davis Park in 2025. Your volunteer credential will act as a parking pass to access Davis Park. A shuttle will bring volunteers to and from Davis Park and TPC Sawgrass. THE PLAYERS Championship general parking lot will still be paid parking Tuesday-Sunday of tournament week for spectators.

The Davis Park Parking Lot is located at 210 Davis Park Rd., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32081

When and where can I pick-up my uniform and credential?

Uniform pickup will be hosted at Volunteer Village on-site at TPC Sawgrass by reservation. Uniform pickup times will be determined in advance. Every volunteer will sign up for a one-hour pickup reservation window during one of the following dates:

  • Saturday, March 1
  • Saturday, March 8
  • Sunday, March 9

If you are unable to attend any of the available dates, you may have someone pick-up your volunteer uniform package for you. Please register yourself for the pickup time of their choice so that your uniform will be ready upon arrival.

If pick-up during the above stated times is not possible, more detailed instructions on pick-up will be provided at a later date.

What bottoms and shoes do I wear with my uniform?
Men may wear khaki pants or khaki shorts, Women may wear khaki pants, skirts, capris or knee-length shorts. Closed-toe shoes are required. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toe shoes and traditional spikes are not permitted.
What if I am unable to attend my committee training?
Please work with your Committee Chair to find an alternate solution.
