THE PLAYERS Championship is powered by more than 40 volunteer committees, each playing a vital role in delivering a world-class experience. Below you will find a description of every committee. Whether you are drawn to the energy of the crowds, the precision of scoring, the warmth of hospitality, or the muscle of building and logistics, there is a place for you.

16TH HOSPITALITY

The 16th Hospitality Committee brings a polished, welcoming presence to sponsored hospitality locations on the 16th green and 16th fairway. Volunteers will greet guests, verify credentials at entrances, and assist corporate clients as needed to ensure the best possible experience.

17TH HOSPITALITY

The 17th Hospitality Committee provides top-tier guest service at sponsored hospitality locations on the 17th tee and 17th fairway. Volunteers will greet guests, verify credentials at entrances, and assist corporate clients as needed to ensure the best possible experience.

ADMISSIONS

The Admissions Committee is the welcoming face of THE PLAYERS Championship, stationed at entry points across the course. Volunteers will verify admission credentials, scan tickets, and provide general tournament information to spectators as they arrive. Admissions teams are positioned at the following gates: Couples Entry (behind 15 tee), Davis Love III Entry (front of the course, adjacent to 10 tee), Elkington Entry (by the practice putting greens at the Dye's Valley Course), Marriott Entry (behind the Sawgrass Marriott), and Nicklaus Entry (behind 17 tee). This committee also includes the Executive Concierge team, which provides personalized credential services for guests who have ordered in advance or arranged pickups for future rounds. The exact Executive Concierge location will be finalized closer to the tournament.

ANNOUNCERS

The Announcers Committee sets the tone for every round at THE PLAYERS Championship. Volunteers on this committee introduce each player as they step to the first tee and are also responsible for distributing scorecards, informing players of the order of play, introducing Honorary Observers, and maintaining close communication with Tour Rules officials regarding any delays or disruptions. Please note: Strong public speaking skills and appropriate voice projection and inflection are required, as there are no microphones or speakers. Volunteers should possess acute knowledge of current PGA TOUR and international players, including the ability to identify them on sight and properly pronounce their names. This committee requires long periods of standing in the sun without shade, and volunteers are required to wear a sports coat while making announcements.

APPAREL DISTRIBUTION

The Apparel Distribution Committee outfits and credentials every volunteer who walks through the gates. Volunteers will inventory and distribute volunteer apparel, assemble credential packages, manage the uniform and credential distribution area, process apparel exchanges, sales, and returns, and handle credential replacements as needed. Please note: Volunteers on this committee must be available prior to tournament week (various dates in late February and early March) to assist with uniform distribution and credential packaging. Some lifting and strenuous activity may be required.

CADDIE SERVICES

The Caddie Services Committee keeps the professionals' support teams running smoothly all week long. Volunteers will assist with professional caddie registration and caddie services, including the distribution and collection of caddie bibs throughout tournament week.

COMMISSARY

The Commissary Committee keeps the entire tournament hydrated and fueled. Volunteers will distribute non-alcoholic beverages and coolers on course and to appropriate committees, players, and venues. Please note: Some lifting and strenuous activity may be required, including lifting ice, beverages, and coolers. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

COMMUNICATIONS

The Communications Committee ensures that every department stays connected throughout tournament week. Volunteers will receive, inventory, and account for radios and associated equipment from the licensed vendor before, during, and after the tournament, and will distribute equipment to appropriate departments based on a predetermined needs schedule.

COMPETITION SUPPORT – SHOTLINK MOBILE SPOTTERS (SMS)

The ShotLink Mobile Spotters Committee plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in powering the real-time data that drives modern golf coverage. Volunteers will help track ball flight off the tee and quickly locate and flag shots that miss the fairway or green, directly supporting the delivery of real-time distance data and statistics to scoreboards, television broadcasts, internet platforms, gaming systems, and mobile applications. Volunteers should have a basic understanding of golf and demonstrate a strong commitment to timeliness, accuracy, and attention to detail. Effective teamwork and communication are essential, and the ability to quickly locate shots is vital for ensuring accurate shot-location data. Please note: Volunteers must be available all day Thursday through Sunday. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements. Volunteers must complete a short online training course, attend a brief virtual or in-person training session prior to tournament week, and complete a ShotLink disclosure form.

COMPETITION SUPPORT – WALKING SCORERS

The Walking Scorers Committee captures every stroke of play, providing players, officials, and fans with reliable scoring data. Volunteers will accompany each group during practice rounds and tournament rounds, recording scores and statistics on a handheld scoring device. Please note: Volunteers must be able to walk all 18 holes with their group and must understand basic stroke counting. Tournament round Walking Scorers must be available all four tournament days, Thursday through Sunday. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

CONSTRUCTION

The Construction Committee literally builds the stage for THE PLAYERS Championship. Volunteers will assist with player fencing, venue set-up, general tournament construction, and various other projects as they arise. Please note: Volunteers on this committee will need to be available prior to tournament week to assist with pre-tournament projects. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

CORPORATE HOSPITALITY

The Corporate Hospitality Committee ensures that every corporate client on the grounds feels like a VIP. Volunteers will provide information and hands-on assistance, verify that only properly credentialed guests enter private hospitality areas, and assist with the delivery and collection of client boxes to hospitality venues on course. Some client interaction is involved and a professional, service-oriented demeanor is key. Please note: Some lifting and strenuous activity may be required. Some shifts may be scheduled prior to tournament week.

COURSE PREP

The Course Prep Committee shapes the spectator experience from the ground up. Volunteers will rope and stake the course and all auxiliary areas to maximize spectator viewing, working alongside the PGA TOUR Director of Security and PGA TOUR Rules Officials to ensure player safety. Additional miscellaneous projects will be assigned as needed. Please note: Some lifting and strenuous activity may be required. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

DARLENE'S DINER

The Darlene's Diner Committee fuels the people who fuel the tournament. Located in Volunteer Village and open exclusively to credentialed volunteers, Darlene's Diner is where the volunteer community comes together. Volunteers on this committee will assist with full food and beverage operations within the dining area. Please note: Some lifting and strenuous activity may be required.

DISABLED GUEST SERVICES

The Disabled Guest Services Committee ensures that guests with disabilities can access and enjoy the tournament with ease. Volunteers will provide golf cart transportation for disabled spectators between the bus drop at the main entrance, disabled parking, and designated areas on the golf course. Please note: All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

EVACUATION

The Evacuation Committee serves as the front line of safety when conditions turn. In the event of inclement weather or an emergency, volunteers on this committee will transport participants off the course to designated safe locations swiftly and efficiently.

FIRST AID

The First Aid Committee safeguards the health and well-being of everyone on tournament grounds during tournament week. Volunteers will provide emergency medical care and medical assistance as needed. This committee is open exclusively to professionally trained medical personnel, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and EMTs.

GALLERY MANAGEMENT

The Gallery Management Committee is the backbone of on-course crowd control. Positioned outside the ropes at tees and greens, volunteers will manage spectator movement, maintain crowd noise levels, operate crosswalks, and manage ropes to keep play flowing without interruption. This committee includes the Crossroads team, which holds one of the most high-traffic posts on the course — directing spectator flow at the critical crosswalk from 18 green to scoring — as well as a Headquarters team based in Volunteer Headquarters that supports gallery management leadership by checking in volunteers and coordinating the many moving pieces of the operation on-site. Please note: All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements, and may require standing for extended periods.

GENERAL PARKING

The General Parking Committee keeps thousands of spectators moving smoothly from car to course. Volunteers will operate and control proper access and flow across all on-site parking lots at THE PLAYERS. Please note: This committee requires the ability to work on your feet for two to three hours at a time. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

GOLF CARTS

The Golf Carts Committee manages the fleet that keeps the tournament moving behind the scenes. Volunteers will control the inventory and distribution of tournament golf carts before, during, and after the tournament, and will assist with cart maintenance, including charging and general upkeep. Please note: All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

GREEN TEAM

The Green Team Committee champions sustainability on the grounds of THE PLAYERS Championship. Stationed at high-traffic fan areas with food and beverage experiences, volunteers will guide spectators in making the best disposal choices at on-course receptacles and encourage sustainable habits. Volunteers may also assist in educating vendors on proper waste disposal practices. Please note: All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements. This committee involves a significant amount of walking.

GREENSIDE SEATS

The Greenside Seats Committee delivers a premium experience at one of the most iconic spots on the course — the hospitality venue at 17 green. Volunteers will greet guests, verify credentials at entrances, and assist corporate clients as needed to ensure a first-class visit.

HONORARY OBSERVERS

The Honorary Observers Committee ensures that VIP guests participating in the Honorary Observer Program receive a polished, memorable experience from start to finish. Volunteers will manage logistics, distribute uniforms, communicate program guidelines, and personally escort guests to the first tee.

INTRACOASTAL CLUB

The Intracoastal Club Committee delivers a premium hospitality experience at the venue located between 12 and 13 green. Volunteers will greet guests, verify credentials at entrances, and assist corporate clients as needed to ensure every visit is seamless and memorable.

MEDIA CENTER

The Media Center Committee serves as the welcoming face of THE PLAYERS Championship to the press. Volunteers will assist PGA TOUR Media Officials with journalist registration and day-to-day Media Center operations, hosting local, national, and international journalists and ensuring they have the best possible working experience while promoting the championship's image worldwide.

PAST CHAIRMAN

The Past Chairman Committee honors the legacy of those who have led THE PLAYERS Championship. Volunteers will greet guests and verify credentials at entrances to the Past Chairman Hospitality tent, an area reserved exclusively for Past Chairmen and their family and guests.

PATRIOTS' OUTPOST

The Patriots' Outpost Committee proudly serves the military community at THE PLAYERS Championship. Volunteers will greet military guests, verify credentials at the entrance to the Patriots' Outpost, and assist with on-site military activations throughout the week.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The Photography Committee captures the moments that make volunteer service at THE PLAYERS Championship unforgettable. Volunteers will coordinate photo opportunities throughout tournament week and during other volunteer functions throughout the year. Please note: Volunteers must bring their own photography equipment.

PLAYER ESCORTS

The Player Escorts Committee provides a dedicated on-course presence alongside each group throughout their round. Volunteers will be assigned to a group and walk the entire course outside the ropes, assisting Gallery Management on every hole and serving as a direct link between players and crowd control. Please note: All volunteers on this committee must be able to walk the full course and keep pace with a players group. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements, and may require standing for extended periods.

PLAYER SERVICES

The Player Services Committee is among the first to welcome athletes when they arrive at TPC Sawgrass. Volunteers will assist with player registration and a variety of player services throughout tournament week, helping ensure every competitor feels at home from the moment they check in.

PLAYER TRANSPORTATION

The Player Transportation Committee keeps players and VIP guests moving safely and reliably before, during, and after the tournament. Volunteers will drive official tournament vehicles on assignments that include transporting players and guests to and from Jacksonville and St. Augustine airports, private residences, and other designated locations throughout the area. Committee members also assist with vehicle inventory and the distribution and retrieval of tournament cars.

* Player Transportation volunteers must be at least 25 years old and are subject to a background check.

PLAYERS PRIDE

The PLAYERS Pride Committee is the heartbeat of what makes THE PLAYERS Championship the premier fan experience in golf. Volunteers on this committee will champion the daily implementation of the PLAYERS Pride initiative, observing fans, vendors, and fellow volunteers to ensure that everyone on the grounds shows respect for each other, the players, and the tournament. Each day of tournament week, this committee recognizes volunteers across all committees who demonstrate ownership and an "above and beyond" attitude, with daily awards granted based on nominations submitted by every committee.

PRACTICE GROUNDS

The Practice Grounds Committee brings order to the busiest practice areas on the property. Volunteers will provide gallery control around all practice facilities, the clubhouse, and designated autograph zones, regulating access for players, tournament officials, media, and other properly credentialed guests. Volunteers will work closely with Runners to identify golfers and position name plates, and may be asked to transport golfers, manufacturer representatives, and coaches to and from the Practice Grounds. Please note: Volunteers must be able to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements. General golf knowledge and etiquette is desirable.

RUNNERS

The Runners Committee gives young volunteers a front-row seat to the action on the Practice Grounds. Runners will hustle player name placards to and from designated practice locations, keeping fans informed and the grounds looking sharp. Please note: This is a youth-only committee. Runners must be no younger than 10 years of age and no older than 13 years of age as of the first day of tournament week.

* Youth volunteers are not eligible for "Volunteer Perks."

SAFETY

The Safety Committee is the watchful eye that helps keep the entire golf course hazard-free. Volunteers will be assigned to a specific area of the course to identify and, where possible, correct safety hazards, as well as assist in reporting accidents within their assigned zone. This committee also handles the distribution of safety signage and equipment as needed. Please note: All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements. This committee involves a significant amount of walking.

SPECIAL EVENTS

The Special Events Committee helps bring the off-course magic of THE PLAYERS Championship to life. Volunteers will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of all special events surrounding the tournament. Please note: Some events are scheduled prior to tournament week.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION

The Spectator Information Committee is the go-to resource for anyone navigating the tournament grounds. Volunteers will greet spectators, answer questions, and provide tournament guidance at information booths and through mobile teams positioned across the course to interact with the greatest number of fans and enhance their overall experience.

STANDARD BEARERS

The Standard Bearers Committee puts young volunteers at the center of the competition, walking alongside each group during tournament rounds and displaying cumulative scores in relation to par on a standard (small scoreboard). Please note: Standard Bearer volunteers must be no younger than 14 and no older than 18 as of the first day of tournament week. Volunteers must be able to carry the standard (approximately 5 to 7 pounds) for all 18 holes with their group and must understand basic stroke counting. Volunteers must select only one shift each day during tournament rounds, Thursday through Sunday. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

* Youth volunteers are not eligible for "Volunteer Perks."

THE DECK

The Deck Committee manages the hospitality experience at The Deck, located on 16/18 Hill. Volunteers will greet guests, verify credentials at the entrance, and assist corporate clients as needed to ensure a seamless and enjoyable visit.

TOURNAMENT SUPPORT

The Tournament Support Committee is the ultimate utility squad, stepping in wherever the need arises to support all other committees across the tournament. No two shifts look the same, and flexibility is the name of the game. Please note: Some lifting and strenuous activity may be required. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

VEHICLE PROCUREMENT

The Vehicle Procurement Committee ensures that the tournament's fleet is ready to roll before the first practice round begins. Volunteers will assist in procuring all official tournament vehicles ahead of tournament week, preparing them for use by players, officials, and VIP guests, and coordinating the return of vehicles after the tournament concludes. Please note: Drivers must be at least 25 years old.

VIP PARKING

The VIP Parking Committee provides a premium arrival experience for the tournament's most distinguished guests. Volunteers will operate and control proper access and traffic flow across all VIP parking lots at THE PLAYERS. Please note: This committee requires the ability to work on your feet for two to three hours at a time. All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

VIP SHUTTLE

The VIP Shuttle Committee ensures that special guests experience seamless, first-class transportation around the course via golf cart. Volunteers on this committee serve as ambassadors of hospitality from the moment guests step on board. Please note: All shifts are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements.

VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT

The Volunteer Engagement Committee is all about energy, connection, and camaraderie. Volunteers will coordinate and facilitate a lineup of special events designed to enhance the volunteer experience, communicating with committee chairmen during tournament week and assisting in the set-up, execution, and take-down of scheduled activities. The goal is to drive passion and positive connection through organized events Thursday through Sunday. Please note: Volunteers must work all days Thursday through Sunday.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

The Volunteer Information Committee is the one-stop resource for every volunteer question imaginable. Available during tournament week and during apparel pickup the weekend before the tournament, volunteers will answer questions on everything from credentials and parking to directions and hours of operation, and will provide guidance to committee locations, sign-in areas, and on-course destinations.

VOLUNTEER OFF-SITE SHUTTLE

The Volunteer Off-Site Shuttle Committee is the friendly first and last impression for volunteers commuting to TPC Sawgrass. Volunteers will coordinate shuttle vans and buses running between Davis Park and the tournament grounds, greeting fellow volunteers as they arrive for their shifts and thanking them as they depart. Please note: This committee requires the ability to work on your feet for two to three hours at a time in the elements. All shifts are located at Davis Park.

VOLUNTEER PERSONNEL

The Volunteer Personnel Committee handles the organizational backbone of the volunteer program. Volunteers will coordinate volunteer registration and manage the information necessary to communicate effectively with volunteers, leadership, and staff.

VOLUNTEER TRANSPORT

The Volunteer Transport Committee keeps fellow volunteers moving efficiently across the course. Volunteers will drive six-seater golf carts to transport volunteers from Volunteer Village to a designated drop-off point on the opposite side of the course. Please note: This committee requires driving a golf cart for the majority of your shift(s) in the elements.
