We (and you) know who you are. You arrive the minute the entries open (we’ve provided the times for you below, just in case) and stay until the final putt drops. You can recite:
• The names and years of all past champions of THE PLAYERS • The course record and who owns it • How many feet Rickie Fowler had for his birdie putt on 17 to win THE PLAYERS in 2015 (4 feet, 8 inches).
You are our die-hard golf fans, and we love the enthusiasm and energy you bring to this tournament each and every day. That’s why we created the below fan journey to make sure you didn’t miss any of the action on the golf course. Basically, we’re the tee to your golf ball. All you have to do is hit it and then go find it.

Hand-squeezed lemonade stands, walk-through concession stands and Daily’s Grab-n-Go in the food court at THE PLAYERS Welcome Experience.
• Thanks to elevated mounding behind the green, the 8th hole is the perfect place to watch players hit their tee shots and putt on this undulating green. • Grab a seat in the Fan Bleacher presented by ULTRA and get an up-close view of how tricky this hole really is.
• Did you know? Course designer Pete Dye called this hole “the most beautiful hole on the course.”
Back side of the practice grounds (left of #4 green) • Best time to go: Between the end of the morning wave of tee times and the start of the afternoon wave.
The mound by #3 tee • Check out the jumbo videoboard to see how far each player is hitting it and to stay up-to-date on what’s happening out on the course.
The Patio • A fan favorite since it debuted in 2011, The Patio includes open-air seating, a videoboard to keep up with the tournament and food and drinks from V Pizza, not to mention permanent restroom facilities and the Michelob ULTRA Bar.
#10 tee and #16 tee • The Fan Bleachers presented by Mayo Clinic provide excellent views of each hole.
The par-5 11th hole gives players a lot of options on their second shot, whether it’s laying up or going for the green in two: #11 • A perfect mound behind the green is one of the hidden gems when it comes to great golf viewing out on the golf course.
#12 • The excitement is sure to unfold on this drivable par-4. Last year, 40 players drove the 12th green. This is the ultimate example of risk-reward. Watch at your own risk. • Where to sit: The Fan Bleachers presented by Publix are double-sided, covered bleachers that also offer concessions available for purchase.
The path between #12 and #13 • For a good 50 feet, players and fans walk side by side from the 12th green to the 13th tee, making this path the perfect place to get a fist bump from your favorite player!
#13 • The 13th hole has the most aces of the par 3s at TPC Sawgrass since 1983 (11 aces).
#14 fairway • Speaking of the 14th hole, this hole has three of the five longest drives at TPC Sawgrass since 2003.
#15 tee • This dogleg right par-4 presents players with a tough and tight tee shot through a chute of trees and over water. It is a quintessential Pete Dye hole.
#15 green • The 15th hole has had 73 Total Hole Outs since 2003, the most of any hole at TPC Sawgrass. • Where to sit: the 15th hole has elevated mounding on the left side of the green, providing good views of approach shots and putting (and chip-ins, of course!!).
#16 • 73% of players have gone for the green in two on the 16th hole, while 68% of players go for the green on the 2nd hole. The 16th hole is one of the most iconic par 5s in all of golf, offering opportunities for eagles and birdies with accurate approach shots, but also bogeys and double bogeys with water looming down the right-hand side. • Where to sit: The elevated mounding on the left side of the green provides an ideal vantage point for approach shots and putts, as well as a view of the 17th hole. Oh yeah, it’s also a great place to see a birdie. Since 1983, there have been 6,531 birdies on the 16th hole. Oh double yeah, since 1983, there have been 432 eagles made on the 16th hole. #theeaglehaslanded
#17 • Hey, it’s called THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass for a reason. This hole is epic, for more reasons than one… the iconic hole, the incredible views, the amphitheater atmosphere, and the do-or-die drama all unfolding before your eyes. BETTER THAN MOST!! • Where to sit: There’s not a bad seat in the house. Plop down, and stretch your legs, on the hill to view all of the groups play the 17th hole. For a bird’s eye view, check out the Fan Bleacher presented by Mayo Clinic. • Get famous: Post a pic of you and your friends on the Island Green with #THEPLAYERS and you could make it on the videoboards!
#18 • The 18th hole overlooks the 77,000 square-foot clubhouse, and when the sun starts to set behind it, there’s really no better view on the course.
When spending time at the course watching the best players in the world, we know all you want to do is get a club in your hands and take a few swings yourself. Below are a few different options that allow you to do just that!
